As Procurement Manager Processes & Systems, you will act as a key figure in the management of procurement tools, systems, and data governance, with the aim of improving the efficiency, accuracy, and traceability of all sourcing activities. You will also be responsible for overseeing, executing, and optimizing procurement processes for technical services, ensuring consistent supply, operational coordination, and compliance with established standards.
What will your key responsibilities be?
- Ensure the correct application of procurement policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Act as a reference for procurement systems, guaranteeing correct implementation, consistent use, and high data quality across catalogs, coding, and conditions.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, tools, and workflows.
- Support team development through workload planning, performance evaluation, and operational supervision.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, and incident tracking, proposing improvement initiatives when needed.
- Manage procurement processes for technical services, including maintenance, equipment, and chemicals, ensuring alignment with operational needs and consumption forecasts.
- Negotiate commercial conditions such as pricing, SLAs, delivery times, penalties, and payment terms within approved frameworks.
- Lead tender processes (RFP/RFQ), technical and economic evaluations, and supplier comparisons.
- Maintain and update the supplier panel, ensuring reliable alternatives and efficient sourcing options.
- Coordinate contract formalization with the Legal department and ensure proper execution of framework agreements.
What are we looking for?
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s in Supply Chain or Procurement is a plus.
- More than five years of experience in international procurement and supply chain roles, preferably within hotel groups, including at least two years managing budgets and teams.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong computer skills, including office tools and management systems.
- Key competencies: strategic orientation, results orientation, team leadership, teamwork, decision-making, and customer focus.
